Mohammed Shafiqul Islam was born into a respectable family in Comilla, and he was extremely meritorious and intelligent in his early childhood. There is no denying the fact that what Johnson observed has happened to Mohammed Shafiqul Islam since he never worked hard like a workaholic for cheap popularity and mere material success but proved in the industry with his immense professionalism and commitment to consistency in his management of manpower and administration. In 1977, Mohammed Shafiqul Islam moved to Chittagong and received his customs clearing and forwarding license in 1984 which enabled him to start wide-ranging business dealings with many buyers abroad. He stared afresh with very little capital in hand but with a whole world of courage and faith. By the early 1986s, he started importing electronic goods and various products from abroad. In 1990 Mohammed Shafiqul Islam started importing air conditioners from top Japanese global brands. In 1996 he started a showroom at Bangabandhu National Stadium market on a larger scale as retailer and wholesaler of all top brand air conditioners and electronic products. In 2003 his business extended to China, and he officially joined hands with Midea Air Conditioner. In 2003 he started working with this company and by 2005 Mohammed Shafiqul Islam became the Master Distributor of Midea Air Conditioners in Bangladesh. On November 18, 2014, Elite Hitech Industries Limited was established in Comilla.
Elite Hitech Industries Limited started manufacturing Midea Air Conditioners and also launched Elite Air Conditioner soon after. His long thriving business establishments got national and international branding and recognition, bringing his business entrepreneurship to an appropriate landmark. Elite Hitech Industries Limited always stayed ahead of the industry. In May 2024, the air conditioner of R32 refrigerant was officially launched and in November 2024, the air conditioner of R290 refrigerant was
launched.
Mohammed Shafiqul Islam, therefore, has become the name of high-quality investments in business particularly in air conditioners that have been well adapted to the climate conditions of Bangladesh. One can safely observe that Mohammed Shafiqul Islam came, saw, and conquered the market of business in Bangladesh with his Herculean passion and determination towards excellence, distinction, and perfection.
